This weather based mermaid with the sunrise in her hands represents the storms we all battle.
She sold Summer 2019 and is one of the many pieces that helped me move to Washington State for my nine month contract as an Academic Librarian.
She has also been painted as a custom mermaid.
She's at peace and put together from pieces of lightweight wood. She is 5' tall and 18ish" wide. Rain is collected around her hear and suspended from where they'd be mistake for tears.
This is a mermaid that rides the storms out.
