I moved to Washington State the Summer of 2019 and I am working hard to find my art way here, as well as, finding people to simply drink wine with.
The Moses Lake Museum has an annual Uncorked Art show and this mermaid is my attempt to get into that show. This likely isn't her final look.
She is a blond mermaid fearless wining out and looking forward guilelessly into her future.
Like I said, the road trip never ends.
She is full size. 5' and 18". She is painted on thin, damaged, cedar that has a driftwood appearance.
Despite her size, she is easy to hang.
